eDisty: Taking a major step in online search.
Area51 was on most every search engine because we felt it was important to have our name out there. Nowadays you will find information redundant and most every part you need of course is available in China. We filter our search results to eliminate China. Search engine after search engine. The results are the same. China China China.
eDisty has taken a bold approach to the China syndrome. Effective January 1st they have officially stop offering their services in China. Once the current Chinese memberships expire they will not be renewed.
If you look at some of the other search engines whose business it seems is becoming more and more Asian based, it is interesting to watch an online search competitor disengage from any marketplace. We at Area51 salute this bold move.
Comparing eDisty diligently against the other search engines we have found the validity of the data to be efficient, clear and straightforward. We have found the volume of the search results to be comparable to the other major search engines at a much more palatable cost. We have also found their customer service support to be superior to most other engines.
With so many search engines on the market, you don’t need them all, but I do feel eDisty is one you should have.
